How to get there?
Chapala is located 35 minutes by car from Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). You can use a taxi for around 50 USD.
Transport
Upon arriving at the airport, we kindly ask you to pay close attention to the type of transportation you choose. Some mobile apps may offer services that are not authorized to operate in the area, so it's important to always ensure the vehicle is officially permitted or registered as an authorized taxi.
For your safety and convenience, we recommend using transportation coordinated or authorized by the event organization, or official taxis available inside the airport.
If you have any questions upon arrival, feel free to contact us. We want to ensure your arrival is smooth and safe!
Should I bring Mexican Pesos?
Most of your meals during the convention are included in your registration. Additionally, if you have booked an all-inclusive package, your hotel stay is also covered.
If you are arriving from another country, we recommend that before leaving the Guadalajara airport for the hotel, you stop by a currency exchange booth in the terminal to purchase Mexican Pesos, or withdraw cash from an ATM.
The exchange rate between the Mexican Peso and the US Dollar is currently around $19.5 MXN per $1 USD, with slight variations depending on the bank.
U.S. Dollars are generally not accepted for purchases, so please make sure to have Mexican Pesos for this purpose.
If you plan to use credit or debit cards issued in another country, please note that some banks may require you to notify them of your travel dates to avoid any issues.
What is the weather like and what clothes do I need?
During the day, the average maximum temperature is 26ºC. At night, the average minimum temperature is 15ºC. Because Chapala has an altitude of 1,542 meters above sea level, the evenings and nights are cool, as well as the early mornings. Bring a light jacket, which will also come in handy due to heavy rain in the afternoon or evening.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! From the moment you arrive, a loving spiritual community will welcome you as family. You arrive as one… and return as One with all.
What languages are spoken at the convention?
Presentations in the main room will be in English or Spanish and will always be translated simultaneously (as is done at the United Nations). You must present a photo ID to the audio technician each morning upon entering the room to receive your translation equipment. There will always be a bilingual person near you. The cities of Chapala and Ajijic have many native English-speaking inhabitants - Mexicans, Americans, and Canadians. The language of the heart is always understood.
What if I don't speak Spanish or English?
No worries, all activities are bilingual. We also have guides fluent in both languages to support you and make everything easy and smooth.
What's included in the ticket?
Your convention ticket gives you full access to all activities, meals, and transformative community experiences. And if you wish to stay in a true paradise on Earth, you can choose a lodging option—surrounded by beauty, nature, and peace.
